When you live in an apartment on a shared parcel, it may occur that you hear sounds, music, read chat, and more from other people that are unwanted. We can image that this is disturbing for you. This page will cover what actions you can take to stop these sounds.

How to stop sounds that come from an object

Find the object that is producing the sound
Right click on the object
Select mute

Example: Piano that is playing music

Select block
The sound stops playing

Nuisance that comes from other avatars in chat

Open your chat console
Right click on the name that is disturbing your chat
Select block
And you will not receive any chat from that avatar or object anymore

Undo a blockage

Open the People menu
Select the TAB Blocked
You see a list of everything you have blocked
Right click on the object or person that you wish to de-block
Blockade has been removed
